Erbil International Fair 2012 is the 8th edition of the multi- sector trade fair and is the largest general trade fair organized in Iraq. The event benefits from the support of a large number of trade promotion agencies, chambers of commerce, trade unions and associations, ministries and embassies. In 2011, Erbil International Fair hosted 850 exhibitors from 22 countries from around the world, showcasing a wide selection of products and services from a diverse range of sectors including engineering, electronics, construction, energy, furniture, interiors, IT, telecommunications, education, fashion, banking, jewelry, handicrafts and much more.

Having one of the highest oil reserves in the world, GDP is set to grow and oil revenues will provide the necessary funding for development infrastructure and other sectors of the economy creating massive demand for a variety of products and services
